Customizations

Mindset Packs builds small batches of customized equipment to order. Here are the customizations we offer, not all options are available on all packs. For fabric and color options, check out our materials page.

Drainage Grommets

Adding grommets in the pack bottom can assist in draining water and dirt which is helpful for canyoneers dealing with water, desert climbers with sandy ropes, and that coffee mug that always pops open on the approach. Not adding grommets keeps the bottom solid which is beneficial for muddy or snowy environments.

Ice Tool Carry 

This option adds a laser cut laminate ice tool patch with cutouts for protecting picks, toggles for head attachment, and slots to mount a standard ski strap (not included) for crampon carry. Also included are two upper handle attachments with quick adjust cordlocks and pulltabs for easy operation with gloves. This system can also be used to carry trekking poles either tip up or tip down. Pictures below are of a heavily used prototype pack, ignore the wear and tear from testing.
